Can I Upload Tif Files Google Drive

Yous can apply the Nugget Director or command line interface (CLI) to upload image or other georeferenced raster datasets in GeoTIFF or TFRecord format. (Come across Importing Vector Data for details on importing vectors using the Code Editor.)

Uploading image avails

GeoTIFF

In the Code Editor, you lot can upload GeoTIFF epitome files up to 10 GB in size to your Earth Engine user folder. (For larger files, use the control-line upload pick.)

To upload a GeoTIFF using the Lawmaking Editor, select the Avails tab in the upper left corner, click the button, so select Epitome upload. Earth Engine presents an upload dialog which should look similar to Figure 1. Click the SELECT button and navigate to a GeoTIFF on your local file system.

Give the image an advisable asset ID (which doesn't already be) in your user folder. If yous'd like to upload the image into an existing binder or drove, prefix the nugget ID with the binder or collection ID, for case /users/name/folder-or-collection-id/new-asset.

Click UPLOAD to get-go the upload.

Once yous have started the upload, an "Asset ingestion" task appears on the Tasks tab at the correct side of the Lawmaking Editor. Hovering over the chore in the task manager shows a ? icon which you can apply to check the upload condition. To cancel an upload, click on the spinning icon next to the task. Once the ingestion is complete, the asset will announced in your user folder with a icon.

TFRecord

To upload an image from a TFRecord file, yous must have the associated mixer file that was generated when you lot exported imagery on which you performed inference. See the consign page for details on the mixer file. More specifically, to import predictions (as an image) fabricated on exported imagery,

  1. Consign imagery into one or more TFRecord files.
  2. Perform inference on the imagery (i.e. model.predict()).
  3. Write the output of model.predict() into a TFRecord file. The predictions should be in the same social club as the epitome exports on which yous performed inference. Order tin can exist enforced by a sort of the filenames produced by the export. Encounter the large file exports department for details.
  4. Upload the TFRecord file(s) and associated mixer to Earth Engine.

Backdrop editing

Edit asset metadata past specifying 1 or more than metadata properties. In the Properties card, click Add holding to define a holding name and value (Figure ii). The value tin be a string or a number. Enter strings without quotes. To format a number as a string, enter a unmarried quote (') earlier the number.

By default, a organization:time_start property is added with no value. This property is used by Globe Engine when applying ImageCollection date filters. Enter either a engagement in the format shown in Effigy ii, or a number representing milliseconds since January 1, 1970. (Run into the glossary for more information on timestamps in Earth Engine). The Asset Manager interprets a number entered as the value for a property named arrangement:time_start or system:time_end every bit milliseconds and formats it as a engagement.

Click the icon to remove a holding.

Advanced options

In the Advanced card, choose the pyramiding policy and the masking mode for your data.

The pyramiding policy specifies how Globe Engine generates lower resolution versions of the image. Acquire more about how Earth Engine handles multiple resolutions in the scale doc. Choose a 'Mean', 'Min', or 'Max' pyramiding policy to compute lower resolution levels of the image pyramid as the mean, minimum or maximum of each 2x2 group of higher resolution pixels. This is a suitable option for continuous-valued images. For categorical (e.grand. country cover) or QA data, choose a 'Sample' (the upper left pixel) or 'Manner' (most frequently occurring value, or sample if there is no mode) pyramiding policy.

The masking mode indicates how the uploaded image is masked (if at all). To specify a no-data value, select 'No-data value' and enter the value. Pixels with this value will exist masked in the uploaded epitome. This value is applied to every band of the image independently. To utilise the last ring of your prototype equally a mask for the other prototype bands, select 'Utilise final band as alpha band'. The alpha ring should be an unsigned 8-scrap ring where 0 is masked (completely transparent) data and 255 is completely opaque.

Tiled uploads

To upload a unmarried epitome as multiple tiles, where each tile is stored in a different source file, click Add another file to add additional files to the upload. Globe Engine will combine the tiles to create a single image in your user folder.

There are a few constraints on the types of files that tin can be uploaded into an prototype asset. In particular:

  1. The images must have the aforementioned number of bands, bit depth, projection, resolution and fill values.
  2. The offset from one file to the adjacent must be an integer multiple of the pixel size.
  3. Gaps between tiles will be filled with masked pixels in the concluding image, so the tiles should ideally be adjacent and non sparsely spread out. Images with gaps taking up >99% of the image area won't exist ingested.
